Agricultural Training for Catholic Women Groups

Project Leader:

Reverend Lawrence Driwale

Women contribute alot to household income in our Region and Uganda at large. In Uganda, the main economic activity is Agriculture. Nebbi Catholic Diocese has 19 Parishes each having an association for Women. The plan is to train 5 women leaders per Parish (95 Participants) for 3 days who in turn will train other association members in the Parish. The training is to focus on sustainable Agriculture and maximising production per unit. The long term aim is to increase food production in the families and kick out hunger.
