Coal & Firewood Supply for Classrooms in Mongolia

Project Leader:

Reverend Leonard Katalayi

The Church in Mongolia is young and growing though facing some pastoral challenges especially in the new mission stations far away from the capital city. Father Leonard Katalayi is raising money to ensure an adequate heating and hot water supply in classrooms used by children from the Erdenet slum in Mongolia who attend a kindergarten program operated by the church. Father Leonard and the teachers work to ensure that they can provide at least one small load truck of coal or firewood per week for the heating in the classroom and hot water in the classrooms. This project will provide heating and hot water supply for children who risk their lives during the ten months of harsh winters of Mongolia. Just $30 helps buy 4 sacks of coal and firewood for 1 day.
