Expand A Home for Neglected Seniors in India

Project Leader:

Reverend Rayapu Reddy

Father Reddy is raising money to support the work of the Archangels Home for the Aged in Rentachinatala Village in the Andhra Pradesh region of India. The Home opened in 2014 with just a few rented rooms in a diocesan building and relied upon a small but dedicated staff of volunteers to care for abandoned seniors. Today, trained care providers offer help to some 25 senior citizens who suffer from illnesses due to advanced aging, malnutrition or neglect. Father Reddy would like to be able to house more seniors and better serve those who have been left abandoned near the end of their lives.
