The Namitembo Farm in the Zomba Diocese of Malawi includes Namitembo parish and the Chipini Rural Hospital. In light of COVID-19, the farm has several objectives: (1) financial assistance for farm workers; (2) awareness programs around COVID-19 (i.e., how it spreads, prevention and measures to be put in place) for the workers and the surrounding three villages and social institutions; (3) provision of sanitary materials such as hand sanitizers, disinfectants, plastic pails with taps, basins, gloves, liquid hand-washing soap, disposable hand towels and face masks to the Farm, Namitembo Parish and Chipini Rural Hospital.

Through the funding of Missio USA we are still aggressive to restrict Namitembo Farm Workers to wear face masks every day and in the execution of their duties. The support keeps on helping in controlling the spread of COVID-19 Pandemic among the poor people of Zomba.
Some of the churches (Kizito and Mateyo Woyera) under Namitembo that have benefited quite a lot from the funding from Missio USA.
