The provision of sanitation materials and water points in the school is the goal of this project in order to enable the reopening in the next academic year in line with the protocols of the Government of Ethiopia. The aim is to protect over 700 students at the school from COVID-19. Protection of students is by extension the protection of teachers and parents of the students. These materials include water supply tanks with a capacity of at about 5000 liters positioned in different points in the school compound. The school is located in a remote village of southern Ethiopia. Dhadim Catholic School is a co-educational system run by the Congregation of the Holy Spirit (Spiritan). The request for this support is due to the poor nature of the community and the impact of COVID-19. Soaps, hand sanitizers and disinfectants are greatly needed in the school before reopening. A donation of $25 helps buy soap and water containers for a family of four.
