Project Leader:
Pope Francis
Each year, with your support to the Missionary Childhood Association, help reaches more than 3 million children in the Pope’s missions. This includes children who are enrolled in catechesis and Christian formation programs, as well as children in nursery schools through secondary schools. We know of Sister Clara and the Sisters serving St. Anthony Parish in Mohipara in Bangladesh who reach out to 296 poor village children to share their Christian faith. Children under the care of Sister Clara and many other Religious Sisters also benefit from programs for “protection of life,” which include health care (basic, rehabilitation, children with disabilities and special needs), advocacy (orphaned children, street children, child soldiers, human trafficking), and outreach (food and water). Throughout the Missions, in the world’s most vulnerable communities, such stories of concrete help are accompanied by hope! Your support makes a world of difference for these children!
