Project Leader:
Pope Francis
The Society of St. Peter Apostle - one of the Pope's mission societies - helps support vocations to the priesthood and religious life in the Missions. This year, some 28,000 mission seminarians, mostly in Asia and Africa, are counting on your help - $700 for a year of study. Likewise, those preparing to be religious Sisters and Brothers in the Pope’s missions need annual help of $300. Pope Francis reminds us to answer God’s missionary call. We answer this call in Africa where the poor need to be uplifted or need to celebrate the Sacraments, where children and families need spiritual care, and where the sick and dying are in need of comfort. We know of Father Thomas in St. Aloysius Minor Seminary in the Diocese of Bongaigaon, in India, who needs to secure electricity for the seminarians. Not only is their education affected but so is their quality of life. Your support of this mission need will help now – and in the future, through the service of these future priests and religious Sisters and Brothers! Help write a story of hope and service for the future!
