School Lunches in Haiti

Project Leader:

Dorcent Murat

Father Murat is responsible for 160 children in grades K-6 in Our Lady of the Nativity in Verettes, Haiti. Many Haitian families send their children to school primarily to be fed. Lynn Steer and her parish, Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Ellicott City, Maryland, support her sister parish and school by fundraising for the school's lunch program. Sister parishes also collaborate to raise money to pay for the salaries of school teachers. Give $25 to help father Murat feed the children in his care. Talk to your parish about how you can support your sister parish in Missio.
