Project Leader:
Reverend Ndichia Anthony
Fr. Anthony is raising money to build a community hall in the diocese of Kroonstad in Zamdela township in South Africa. Zamdela township is an area formerly segregated for Black South Africans during Apartheid. The area remains an impoverished community where residents have few opportunities for education and employment. Fr. Anthony is fundraising to build a community center where Zamdela residents can come to receive drug counseling and medical care, participate in literacy and employment programs, and learn HIV/AIDS prevention and parenting skills. The community hall will include, offices, meeting rooms, and a common kitchen. Give $20 to help Fr. Anthony and Zamdela township strengthen the community, starting with building a center for its members to gather.
Anonymous donated $100.
