Job Skills Training Center

Project Leader:

Reverend Jonedius Toppo

Archdiocese of Bhopal was founded in 1963. The following year, the diocese established a group to address social issues of the diocese and formed the Asha Niketan Welfare Center. The Center has organized community development projects and participated in disaster relief programs. The center provides assistance to Catholic clinics, hospitals, schools and vocational training. Additionally, the Center works with members of the community on local conservation efforts and agriculture initiatives. Father Jonedius Toppo is a full-time Social Work Director of the Archdiocese of Bhopal and works closely with the Asha Center. He is currently raising funds to open a job skills training center for the poor and marginalized.
