St. Clare Polytechnic is a tertiary institution established in 2007 and run by the Little Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi. The school is in the Molo constituency in Elburgon which is part of the Nakuru district in the Rift Valley province of Kenya. It offers tailoring, dressmaking, hairdressing, beauty therapy and computer courses to empower girls and young, single mothers to become self-reliant. St. Clare Polytechnic needs financial support to continue to offer quality services. These technical skills would help the participants to support themselves and their families. The goal is to help reduce unemployment, child labor, addiction, prostitution, domestic violence, child abuse, and early pregnancy. $25 helps buy sewing kits.
