St. Eugene de Mazenod Catholic Parish is a poor church in the Vicariate of Pilcomayo, Paraguay. For more than 90 years the Oblates of Mary Immaculate have been serving the mostly indigenous, poor community. The people are hard-working, willing to do any job in order to live and take care of their families. The area has a scarce water supply and is extremely hot most of the year. The Oblate community provides all pastoral care for all the communities within 150 km of the parish. In order to better serve the needs of the parish, these hardworking missionaries are raising money to purchase a few computers and projectors. This important equipment will make more ministry possible.
