Sister Ednella Muchingamwa
The Congregation of the Handmaids of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Mutare and Chipinge, Zimbabwe, serve disadvantaged and marginalized women and children. Their charism is a life of prayer and of service. Like their foundress, they strive to bring that Carmelite charism to meet the needs of the times in and through their ministries in Christian education and in pastoral, social, and health care services. Sisters Ednella and Pauline, and their community in Zimbabwe, are performing their ministries of education and healthcare without a safe home to live in themselves, or an adequate and accessible center for community members seeking their help. They are raising money to build a small clinic and convent. The sisters will also begin school in the new structure. Give $25 to support this important project to meet the needs of their community.
