Educate Blind Children in India

Project Leader:

Brother Xavier Antony

Parents in developing countries often struggle to afford sending their children to school. Blind children are often denied education because of their special needs, and some communities believe they are incapable of learning. Brother Xavier is committed to providing the education this frequently neglected group of children. He is raising money for his Amalarakkini School that offers a home and special education to 100 blind children in Tamil Nadu, India. Both boys and girls from rural areas receive training in various vocational skills that will be necessary to support themselves as adults. Give $25 to help Brother Xavier continue educating and housing the children in his care.
