A transitory center gives children with disabilities assessment, diagnosis and possible treatment. An orthopedic officer together with a physiotherapist and occupation therapist work together managing rehabilitation services. It’s very challenging to facilitate this care when offered once every other week. The capacity is not large and patients are encouraged to go home to fully recover. All is done to make possible home visits as patients live far away or cannot make the trip to the center. Teaching families to help these master skills of daily life is also part of the program. Please help make rehabilitation services a reality for many children with disabilities. A gift of $25 can buy one child crutches.
