House the Homeless in Ethiopia

Project Leader:

Brother Charles Dung

Mother Teresa opened a small home for her Sisters in Ethiopia in 1974. It became one of the largest centers for the poor and the homeless in the country. About 40 of the sisters work at this house, along with 60 staff, looking after those who have no one else to care for them – all day… everyday… with joy and love. The home is really two homes, one for children, the other for teens and the elderly.
