Send 50 Children to Kindergarten in Sri Lanka

Project Leader:

Reverend Dennis T. Iddamalgoda, Omi

Fr. Dennis has committed his life to providing quality education to children in his home of Sri Lanka. Access to good schools is very difficult and often excludes the very poor. Fr. Dennis is raising money for a scholarship program developed by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. The De Mazenod Scholarships support low income students beginning in kindergarten all the way through college. Fr. Dennis and his staff select 50 students each year to support them through their education. You can support the other De Mazenod Scholarships at the various levels on Missio as well. Fr. Dennis is a fierce advocate for education because he believes providing access to this invaluable resource allows excluded children to grow and become good leaders in the Church and in the country at-large. Give $50 to send a child to school.
