Located in the Kumaon foothills of the Himalayas, Sumedha is a center for renewal of body, mind and spirit through the integration of spirituality and psychology. Pastoral work is hard. Sumedha faculty provide retreats and counseling to clergy, religious, lay leaders and social workers experiencing over-work and exhaustion so they may return anew to serve others. To continue its service to others, Sumedha must start construction on a new building. The center is losing its lease in 2017.
