Smoke Detectors For a Clinic in South Africa

Project Leader:

Ms. Nichollette Zulu

Mrs. Lucy is raising money to install smoke detectors in the Little Eden Society. Little Eden is a residential Home for 300 children and adults with profound intellectual development disorders. The ages of Little Eden residents range from 3 years old to 65 years old. The average mental developmental age is 1 years old. Most of the residents in Mrs. Lucy’s care were abandoned. Some come from homeless families. Give $25 to help install a smoke detection system to ensure their safety.

THANK YOU! Your valuable donation of $2500 contributed towards the installation of fire/smoke dictators in our new residential wing called Mary's Mill. Excitement filled the air at LITTLE EDEN Society as a small group gathered to officially open a new residential wing, Mary’s Mill, on Friday 14 May 2021. The 26-bedroom new residential wing at LITTLE EDEN, Elvira Rota Village (ERV) in Bapsfontein, is part of phase one of the major building project which commenced late last year. The first part of the ceremony was Holy Mass that took place at the Society’s Chapel, celebrated by His Grace, The Most Rev Archbishop Dabula Mpako. The second session entailed the unveiling of the plaque, cutting of the ribbon and a tour of the new building. We take this opportunity to send our heartfelt gratitude to all who donated towards this special project. May God bless you all!
