St. Maria Goretti Ngetta Elementary School in the small town of Lira, Uganda, needs to build a fence around its grounds. The students who attend the small school – some of whom are blind – are not adequately protected. Sister Susan explains there are roaming animals that stroll through the school at times, as well the unfortunate vandal and thief. Sister Susan and her Sisters who run the school are eager to construct fencing around the property to keep the children and school safe. $20 helps get this project started.

The Missio Team & our contributors, \r\nWarm greetings from Ngetta Girls Primary School !\r\n\r\nI would to extend my heart felt gratitude to your organization for\r\nallowing our school Ngetta Girls Primary School to raise funds for our\r\nproject \"Fencing the school Uganda,\" through your platform. I would\r\nalso like to thank all the contributors of all sizes are much\r\nappreciated!\r\n\r\nWe will work hard to see that your gift will make a real difference;\r\nand at the same time, I would like to encourage donors to continue to\r\ndonate funds and encourage others to donate for our project.\r\n\r\nOur students will be braking on the 5th/05/2017 for their holiday and\r\nthey will be reporting back after three weeks.\r\n\r\nWe have discussed with the School Management Committee to start the\r\nwork for fencing the school during this Holiday. I am therefore\r\nrequesting your organization if possible to send for us the funds to\r\nenable us start the work though there is need for more funds for the\r\nproject.\r\n\r\nAt the same time, we are going to start a new project on Missio Platform to enable us raise more funds for the completion of build a fence Uganda. We still need your support for this project and others proposed projects in the near future.\r\n\r\nWe have been trying to share with some photos taken within the school but we could not make it, and we need to take the photos with digital camera to enable us have a jpg peg image. But we have sent some photos of the blind students alongside Sr. Susan Akot Odongo in front of the administration block to Missio team. \r\nWe shall be more than happy to hear from you.
