Project Leader:
Reverend Bonifasio Senteza
In Uganda, 75% of all diseases are a direct result of lack of clean water and proper sanitation. The most common water borne diseases are diarrhea, dysentery, typhoid, and cholera. Water borne diseases and related deaths can be reduced by 94% with safe, clean water, adequate sanitation, and proper hygiene. Naitondo Village is in the Catholic Diocese of Kasana-Luweero. This village lacks supply of clean water. The few water sources available are ponds. Children move long distances from their homes to collect water from these ponds and then carry big cans of water back home. Kindly help this village access safe and clean water. A gift of $25 can help start the work.
