Project Leader:
Sister Margaret Mweshi
Children with physical disabilities can feel ashamed that they can’t play with other children. Surgery at St. John Paul II promises to restore this important element of childhood - mobility. Dr. Margaret Mweshi is the Hospital Director at St. John Paul II Orthopedic Mission Hospital. In addition to expanding the small hospital to serve the many in need of its care, Sister Margaret is raising money to help pay for the orthopedic surgeries of the many children in her care. However, surgery is expensive. Most children who come to St. John Paul II come from low-income families. This project pays for 10 childrens' surgery and physio-therapy. Give $50 to pay for the medications. Or Give $500 to pay for the surgery.
