This project, phase 1, will serve to provide computer literacy to the children from the target area of the Faisalabad Zone. Formal education is important for children and through the EACD project “Educational Support Service (ESS)” children are getting free education, but it is felt that computer literacy is also important for these children. For their future, although there will be many job opportunities, most of them will require computer literacy. Computer literacy is now becoming an increasing demand in Pakistan. This program aims at providing computer education facilities to children from the target and surrounding areas with special classes for the girls, i.e. due to the cultural background. The computer center will operate in a rented building. A donation of $25 can help secure IT supplies.
