Project Leader:
Sister Mackline Adema
I am a religious nun in charge of Chebukaka farm and I came up with a project on pigs rearing. This project begun last year in March 2020. I have been selling pork to the second largest open-air market in Eastern Africa. I began it to solve the problem of unemployment among the youth. Young people must work and, unfortunately, many lost jobs due to the Covid - 19 pandemic. In this farm, the pigs are congested and there is an urgent need to expand the piggery unit. I am kindly appealing to well-wishers to help in the expansion of the piggery unit to create more jobs for working able young people from destitute homes and poor families so that they may earn a living and be taught skills. This will help to minimize rates of social crimes.
