The novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19 and the subsequent economic crisis has caused widespread famine among the school going children living in semi-arid areas of the Diocese of Ngong, Kenya. The climate variability in these semi-arid areas has equally contributed to food scarcity in the agriculturally based area of Kajiado County. We appeal to you to assist us to feed these children so as to keep them in school during the academic period, as we look for long-term solutions to improve food security. The outreach program is estimated to feed 20 primary schools with capacity 500 per school. Your gift of $50 can help feed 20 school going children per week.
