Feeding Program in Kenya

Project Leader:

Sister Sr. Linet Ijai

I am Sister Mary Linet Ijai and I am working in a poverty- stricken area with little resources. Families are very humble, and most homes do not have enough food to eat adequately. The children, in particular, come to us asking for nourishment. Children do not have a set learning system as the families seek work to meet the basic needs. Children often miss school as it is not a priority. The priority is to secure a meal. We are beginning this program in order to retain them in school and improve their future. A gift of $25 will help us provide food and retain them in school.
