Project Leader:
Reverend Gnoumou Edouard
Father Gnoumou is raising money to purchase and install a solar powered pump for the new well and water tower his community is building for the local shrine they are responsible for. The small pilgrimage shrine called the “Sanctuaire de la Sainte Famille” (Holy Family Sanctuary) is located high on a hill above the town of Dedougou in Burkina Faso. Each year on the Feast Day of the Holy Family (December 31st this year), over three thousand pilgrims gather at the shrine. Until now, there has been no water available for the faithful visitors. Thanks to the efforts and donations of pilgrims, there is now a well and water tower. Father Gnoumou just needs a way draw the water from the ground. Give $50 to help purchase a solar powered pump to provide safe water for this place of pilgrimage in Burkina Faso.

We have also successfully tested the water from the water drilling to the water tower. Unfortunately, the building of the water tower is not finished yet. So we have not been able to introduce the water inside and to distribute it to the water taps yet. When everything will be completed, we will send you other pictures along with the faithful in pilgrimage, enjoying their New Solar Powered Water product. As we are in rainy season now, we don't have pilgrimage because of lack of shelter in the sanctuary. After the rainy season, we will send you the pictures. But from now on, the water is already benefiting to the people around the sanctuary who stayed in their fields during all the rainy season as you can notice that in some pictures. Thank you to everyone. Thank you for having accepted to be the generous instruments by whom God can pass to fulfil the need of his people. May he give you back the reward abundantly.
Here the first testing of the Solar Powered Water Pump to drive out water from the drilling. And it is completly successful.
Here the installation of the solar photovoltaic panels, the electric converter and 10 water taps along the sanctuary.
Here the solar pump that was immerged into the water drilling
Here the building of the solar photovoltaic panel bearer.
