$330 buys one computer at Centro Educativo in Olancho. The center’s two schools educate 105 students from the 7th -11th grades. Centro Educativo is located high in the mountains of Honduras where the average income is $7.00 a day. Fr. Osorto is raising money to set up computer labs in both schools. The newly mandated State curriculum of Honduras requires computer classes to better prepare students to attend college but does not provide them. Fr. Osorto believes this level of education provides new opportunities and skills in these communities. He is hoping to purchase 24 computers. All in favor, click Donate!
