Project Leader:
Reverend Mukhanatsi Elphas
Father Elphas hopes to build a church for a growing community of faith. St. Mary Queen of Peace Parish in Osorongai, Kenya, was established in 2015. Currently, parishioners celebrate Mass, offer public prayer and participate in religious education programs in a multi-purpose hall adjacent to the parish school. Father Elphas and the St. Mary’s community are eager to build a house of worship to celebrate their faith. Families continue to make offerings to the best of their ability and local farmers have been contributing or selling produce in support of this effort.

Alleluyah! Praise be to the Risen Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior! I take this humble opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the Missio Team USA plus all the People of God who offered their kind donations towards our Church Construction. Thank you so much. Find here attached some photos of the church structure; it is still under construction and so there are still other items and materials to be bought not forgetting bunches of construction works at hand and ongoing. Your Contributions have brought us this far. I have never failed to thank you... On behalf of the People of God of St. Mary's Queen of Peace Parish-Osorongai, it is a Myriad of appreciation and prayerful Blessings to you all. Thank you God Bless and Reward you all a thousand fold and surplus. Cordial Blessing Fr. Elphas Mukhanatsi, SDS
