Replace Old Plumbing in a Catholic Ashram in India

Project Leader:

Reverend George Kuttickal

Friends and Birds of the Air is a movement founded by Fr George Kuttickal, M.C.B.S, in Delhli, India, to live with and minister with the poor and the unwanted. Inspired by the Gospel of Matthew chapter 6:26, “Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” Fr. George’s movement is both a ministry and life style where community members trust in Divine Providence. Their communities, or Ashrams, are families that welcome and shelter unwanted women and children living on the streets and lovingly bring them back them into fellowship with society. Every Ashram has a father figure and a mother figure. Community members are called sons, daughters, brothers, sisters or children according to their age. Fr. George is raising money to replace rusted and plastic plumbing fixtures, add a toilet, and update electrical wiring in one Friends and Birds of the Air Ashram. Give $20 to support this beautiful movement restoring the spiritually wounded to life.
