Literacy, mathematics, and the knowledge of the world that comes with an education are gifts that can never be lost once they have been received. The development of one’s sense of self and place in the world are defined by the cognitive and social skills acquired in early education. 263 million young people won’t have access to the basic education you and I had, and the education we provide our children. That is too many boys and girls denied their potential. Liberia Mission offers Catholic education to impoverished children in Monrovia, Liberia, who could not otherwise attend school. However, they need our help supporting the tuition of these students. When this project meets its goal, it will cover the entire tuition for two community students for a year. Liberia Mission not only provides rich Catholic education, but also provides medical care, supplies, uniforms for the students. Help Elena and Liberia Mission give this gift and empower two of our community students with Catholic education.

Thank to everyone giving! We are only $113 from our goal! School will start at St. Anthony's on Liberia Mission on September 4th, so we have a lot of preparations underway. We are so grateful to everyone who is praying for and donating to our community student project- you are truly helping us break the cycle of poverty with education. Thank you!
