Project Leader:
Reverend Fr. Alloys Mwayi
Saint Theresa Catholic Church Asumbi in Diocese of Homa Bay, Kenya is in desperate need of two wells for clean drinking water. The parish runs the local government funded health center and provides help and support to small family farmers in the surrounding community. In times of severe drought, the clinic must close and the community is without access to a sufficient amount of clean groundwater for drinking or farming. As a result, food becomes scarce and diseases such as typhoid spread rapidly. In times such as these, children are forced to stay home from school for fear of illness or because their family simply cannot afford to send them. You can help keep the clinic open and save lives NOW by bringing water to the parish, health cente,r and community. Know that the parishioners of Saint Theresa’s are counting on your help – and praying for you too! give $25 to help this life saving project.
