Project Leader:
Joseph Mlola
Give $60 to help the Diocese of Kigoma in Tanzania provide healthcare to the 90 children its responsible for. The children in the diocesan homes have lost their parents to the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Joseph Miola is raising money to purchase the government’s low-cost health insurance for the children. $60 a year covers clinic visits and medications for one child. The prevalence of Malaria, parasitic infections, and HIV infections among some of the children makes this health insurance a dire and immediate need. Just $60 gives a child the care they need.
