Fr. Charles is raising money to buy water tanks to store drinking water at St. Joseph Parish in in the remote village of Tonga in Kenya. The main source of water for the community is rain. The small amount of water that comes down from the hills after rains dries up quickly. Water tanks to store clean water are urgently needed to sustain the community’s pastoral life. The parish has 33 outstations with about 10,000 parishioners, most of whom are children. Hundreds of these children come to the church campus to study on weekends and during school holidays. St. Joseph Parish provides meals for these children and youth, and provide catechesis and other church programs. Give $25 to provide safe drinking water for St. Joseph’s Parish.
