Build a Kitchen for a Novitiate in Kenya

Project Leader:

Brother Patrick Njuguna

The Brothers of Good Shepherd were founded by the late Archbishop Boniface Lele in 2006. They pride themselves on forming young Catholic men and helping them realize their responsibility, and in uplifting their families and the church. The Good Shepherd Brothers rely on the generosity of the poor they serve to sustain their own community. Brother Patrick is raising money to build a small kitchen in the four-room-house where he and his 15 brothers now live. Without a kitchen, Brother Patrick and the others prepare and cook their meals outside in what was originally a chicken pen. Give $25 to help them build a kitchen so that together they can continue to but also better serve in their ministries.

it true they had chickens broiler but when they were all disposed the problem started when their founder bishop Lele passed the congregation had and it has a lot of financial constraints. Being young and very few members who are not financially stable they couldn't raise more money to buy more chickens and the feeds. They get their daily food from the parish and welwishers.. By the time I was writing this proposal they had only 4 bedrooms and a living room and we use to share rooms. This is the reason they are in dire need of support of all kinds for their sustainability.
