Saasira is a small village in the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Kasana-Luweero in Uganda with no provision of clean water. People face the reality of sharing bodies of water with cows and goats. A particular source of water is no more than a small hole with logs where people can stand to collect water. Water consumption from these receptacles is dangerous and at times mortal. Water borne diseases are prevalent in this area. Recently, Father Bonifasio went for burial of a child who fell prey to polluted water. Mothers ask what they can do to give their children clean water. Please consider donating so that no one has to die from a water borne disease. A gift of $25 can help start drilling.
