Christ Thy Kingdom Come! Since the COVID-19 pandemic started, vulnerable families in Kenya have been hit hard due to the collapse in economy and their purchasing power reduced significantly. With your support we were able to reach vulnerable households through various interventions such as awareness on covid-19, food support, and handwashing soap and face masks. We thank you for supporting us to support these vulnerable families. Your support has impacted positively in their lives. May the Almighty God be with you always and Bless you abundantly.

The prolonged school holidays due to Covid-19 Pandmic has hard hit the girls from vulnerable households in Kieni. Due to the reduced purchasing power of their parents they are not able to buy for them sanitary towels so they are left at the mercy of men with predatory behaviour. In partnership with the local schools we are reaching out to those goes by issuing them with sanitary towels to last them until the year ends. This is a collaborative partnership between Brothers of St Joseph, Local Administration(Chief/Assistant Chiefs) and female teachers from those institutions who disseminate information to the girls on the need for menstrual hygiene. Thank you for always supporting us to transform the lives of the vulnerable people in our communities.

As we continue distributing food and face masks one of the cases we encountered was of a family where this boy had physical disability and also he was deaf. It was sad seeing him crawl on the ground as he tried to gesture. COVID-19 has hit hard such families where the parents were casual labourers and they no longer have money to fend for their families. But with your support we are able to reach such families. Thank you for supporting us to support such families. Be Blessed❤️

The past few days we have been reaching out to girls from vulnerable families who have been affected by the pandemic and they cannot access sanitary towels. Most of these girls relied on those distributed in schools and now that they do not have access to them most of them are using rags and some have resulted to sleeping with men around who give them money in exchange to purchase the sanitary towels. In partnership with local teachers, we have been reaching out to these girls and issuing them with sanitary towels as well as disemminating more information about COVID-19 and the need for menstrual hygiene. Keep in supporting us to reach more of these girls. Thank you and be Blessed always!
